In-home family casework | empower, enhance and strengthen familiesInspiring leadership supporting individual agency and autonomyFull-time | permanent | senior level role | BendigoYour role: The role involves the provision of an in-home family casework service, working in partnership with families with the aim of strengthening parenting capacity and family resilience. The work involves taking steps to reduce risks to children's safety and wellbeing and that of other family members, as well as working with families to empower them to enhance their parenting capacity and family functioning and therefore to improve outcomes for children.
Make your mark: Providing support to colleagues in the team including debriefing as well as supporting student placementsA good understanding of the social context of child abuse and neglect and experience in applying relevant theoretical approaches to deliver outcomes.Conduct risk and needs assessments using relevant and contemporary frameworks, theory, and practice models.Case recording, data collection, registration standards and other requirementsPartner with the family and the care team to develop and review action plans aimed at improving outcomes.Active engagement of vulnerable children, youth and families and delivering a range of interventions to improve their outcomesSkills in case management, including developing community linkagesMake it work: You get a salary starting at around $106,000 plus super.Salary packaging is available up to $15,900 plus an entertainment card.SCHCADS award level 6.Negotiable through the increments dependent upon experience.An opportunity to build your career at the leading provider of family services in Victoria.Work from our office space in Bendigo.We take the Health and Wellbeing of our people seriously offering a Well Worth It!
