Make a meaningful impact by supporting victim survivors of family violence.Collaborate with professionals in a supportive, growth-oriented environment.This is a part-time (0.4 FTE), max term opportunity.Reach further with us!The Oak Program is a behavioral change program that aims to assist young people to develop healthy ways of interacting in relationships. Throughout the program, young people are provided with case management, counselling, and group learning activities to develop respectful ways of being in relationships with others and how to avoid abusive, controlling, and coercive behaviors. In this role, you will provide safety assessment, safety planning, and support to victim survivors of family violence who are parents/carers or partners of a young person receiving services from the Oak Program.This is a part-time (15 hours per week, ideally worked across 3 days), max term opportunity until 30 June 2026, based in Albany.About youTo be successful in this role you will have:Diploma of Counselling or Community Services, or equivalentDemonstrated experience in supporting individuals and families, preferably in respect to family and domestic violence and/or traumaKnowledge and experience in supporting parents with adolescentsDemonstrated experience in family violence safety assessment and planningExperience working in culturally safe and responsive ways with clients from Aboriginal and other diverse cultural backgroundsKnowledge of the impact of Family and Domestic Violence on childrenKnowledge of Best Practice Guidelines and PrinciplesThe successful candidate must possess a current National Police Clearance valid within one year, a WA Working with Children Card, and a WA Drivers Licence.In return for your drive and commitment, we provide the support of an inclusive and welcoming community which places people at the heart of all the work we do and encourages broad thinking, curiosity, creativity, and best practice.Also:A competitive salary from $84,000 per annum (pro rata) + 11.5% superannuationSalary packaging of up to $15,900 (which equates to circa $4K after tax) plus additional salary packaging of up to $2,650 for meal and entertainment expensesAdditional 3 days leave (pro rata) per year over the festive periodLife-balance friendly working conditionsAt Anglicare WA we are all about people, placing people at the heart of our work.
