This is a rewarding & unique opportunity for an experienced & talented Family Lawyer to join a leading Victorian law firm. They are renowned for their depth of expertise, commitment to client service and stable, collegiate work environment.
This new role will be based in Dandenong. This will make for an ideal base if you are looking to work closer to home in this fast-growing corridor to save on both time & money you could be spending somewhere else!
The firm provides specialised advice & services across a wide range of areas, including having a well established and dedicated family law team. Here you will advise private clients on a wide range of family law matters including property, parenting, child support, IVOs etc…
Having grown substantially over time, due to demand, the firm now seeks to appoint a new Family lawyer, who is capable & experienced enough to work independently, though you will have ready access to a senior family lawyer, as well as an experienced family law secretary to provide all the support you need.

In this role you will enjoy a real sense of satisfaction & achievement assisting clients requiring advice on all aspects of family law. Here you will appreciate a good level of autonomy whilst having the support of other professionals within this collaborative style culture.
About the ideal candidate…
Solid family law experience, (eg. 4 yrs plus)  incl. divorce; property settlements; child support; children's issues; IVOs etc.;Experience in dealing with private clients and understanding of taxation and estate planning as it relates to family law;Eagerness & ability to handle challenging/complex matters with strong drafting skills & a keen eye for detail;Ability to foster existing relationships & build new ones;This is a rare opportunity & pivotal career role offering excellent career prospects & genuine work/life balance! An attractive salary package, commensurate with your level of experience, will be negotiated.
