SA Health is seeking dedicated professionals to join our team at the Environmental Health Centre in Port Pirie, working to reduce lead exposure and improve health outcomes.In this crucial role, you'll be part of a multidisciplinary team providing comprehensive case management and preventative services to families with children at risk of elevated blood lead levels. Your expertise will be invaluable in developing and implementing an integrated range of health services and initiatives under the Port Pirie Lead Implementation Program.Key Responsibilities:Provide specialised nursing, occupational therapy or social work services to support children and families impacted by lead exposure.Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.Develop, evaluate and contribute to preventative programs and health promotion.Build capacity through education, community engagement and case management.Utilise your clinical skills to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.About You:Passionate about improving children's environmental health and developmental outcomes with excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.Innovative and flexible in overcoming healthcare challenges while prioritising workloads and meeting timelines.Strong ability to build positive relationships across multidisciplinary teams.For Applicants Seeking the AHP2 Classification:Must hold a recognised qualification in Social Work or Occupational Therapy.Must be eligible for practising membership with the relevant Professional Association.For professions requiring Registration, all requirements to obtain and maintain current registration must be met.For self-regulated professions, participation in the professional association's accredited Continuing Professional Development (CPD) program is desirable.Must demonstrate AHP2 level competencies, or have a 2-year post-graduate Master's degree with a related allied health undergraduate qualification.For Applicants Seeking the RN/M2A Classification:Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.Registered Nurse/Midwife with at least 3 years post registration experience or currently classified as a Clinical Nurse/Midwife.Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.Experience in the supervision of student nurses, enrolled nurses and less experienced nurses or health care team.Don't miss this unique opportunity to join SA Health and make a real impact on the health and wellbeing of Port Pirie families. We are a free public health service that is responsive to the health needs of the Port Pirie community.The successful candidate will have the benefit of the following (subject to availability and eligibility):Up to $13,000 reimbursement for relocation costs.3 months free accommodation and subsidised rental accommodation for short term contracts.Professional supervision within your discipline to support professional and clinical development.Support in developing your career journey.Minimum of $2000 per year for professional development and training.A thorough orientation and buddy system to support relocation and transition.We also offer salary sacrifice benefits.The South Australian public sector promotes diversity and flexible ways of working part-time.
