As the Factory Manager for our prestigious client, you will oversee the efficient and effective operation of the Royal Park production facility. This is a full-time position in which you will play a vital role in driving the company's factory operations.What you'll be doingDevelop and implement innovative strategies to streamline factory operationsCollaborate with quality control managers to establish and execute quality control processesManage and coordinate all production activities to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery of productsOversee inventory management, material procurement, and quality control processesDevelop and implement production schedules and workflows to maximise efficiency and productivityLead, coach, and develop a team of production supervisors and operatorsIdentify and implement process improvements to reduce waste, enhance safety, and boost outputCollaborate with other departments to align production with sales, logistics, and business objectivesEnsure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulationsLead safety and environmental awareness in line with Safety Certainty 2.0 principles with the Company and subcontractorsSupport project procurement activities including purchasing and management of goods and services where requiredOversee the selection and training of qualified staff, ensuring clearly defined roles and responsibilities, providing effective supervision, and managing performance to ensure efficient operationsWhat we're looking forExtensive experience (5+ years) in a similar production/manufacturing management roleStrong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologiesGood understanding of Pronto software (desirable)Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and project management skillsProven ability to lead and motivate a team of production personnelFamiliarity with inventory control systems and quality assurance processesTertiary qualification in Operations Management, Engineering, or a related fieldGood understanding of Australian Standards (AS)Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise mature judgmentStrong safety focus and knowledgeGood verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently and manage, lead and motivate a teamAbility to organise and prioritise competing tasksWhat we offerComprehensive health and wellness benefits packageOpportunities for professional development and career advancementSupportive and collaborative work environmentAbout usConcept Recruitment is a leading Talent Acquisition Agency in South Australia.
