FACILITY SUPPORT MANAGER - FULL TIMEAt Wattle Hill Care, we are seeking an experienced and dedicated Facility Support Manager to oversee the day-to-day support functions (non-clinical) operations of our care facility and retirement village in Bunbury, Western Australia. This is a full-time role based in Bunbury.What you'll be doingSupervising and coordinating the facility's support services, including catering, cleaning, maintenance, and grounds keeping.Managing our retirement village in accordance with the retirement village act and all relevant regulatory and legislative requirements.Monitoring the facility's compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.Effectively managing the departmental operational budget and resources, ensuring cost-effective operations.Overseeing the procurement and maintenance of equipment, supplies, and services.Collaborating with the care team to address any facility-related issues or concerns.Implementing and enforcing policies and procedures to maintain a safe, clean, and well-functioning environment.Fostering a positive and supportive work culture among the facility support team.What we're looking forProven experience in a similar facility support or operations management role, preferably in the aged care or healthcare industry.Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with both staff and village residents.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.Proficient in the use of relevant software and technology to support facility operations.A team-oriented approach with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse support staff.Knowledge of relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations in the aged care sector.What we offerAt Wattle Hill Care, we value our employees and are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive work environment.
