Management (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)Veolia ANZ is seeking a Plant Manager to join our team based at Woodlawn, 45 minutes north of Canberra at the Veolia Woodlawn Eco-Precinct. In this role you will be responsible for the overall management of the Woodlawn Mechanical Biological Treatment plant (MBT), which treats municipal waste to extract organics to be composted for beneficial reuse. This process consists of mechanically turning the waste through large waste drums to separate organics and other reusable products for further mechanical and biological processing and compost production. The plant currently processes 144,000 tonnes of waste annually. The MBT also processes 15,000 tonnes of garden and household food waste (FOGO) for composting with further plans for expansion.
