You will be responsible for ensuring a high standard of food and service to our valued residents through the preparation of quality ingredients through to the delivery of wholesome cooked meals. Cooking to a rotating menu, you will prepare meals including breakfasts, lunch and dinner; therefore, availability to work am and pm shifts is essential.Duties may include:Enabling residents to live well by delivering tasteful, well presented, nutritious mealsCreating, supervising and preparing menusSupervising to ensure correct procedures and kitchen practices meet BaptistCare HACCP Food Safety Plan standardsSkills & experienceExperience working in a busy commercial kitchenWorking knowledge of Food Safety Guidelines (HACCP)An understanding of IDDSSI and texture modified foods is an advantageCertificate III in Commercial Cookery/ HospitalityAccess to in-house and online training programs including a comprehensive orientation upon arrival and a dedicated Learning & Development team for ongoing supportSupportive, positive team environmentFitness PassportAbout Kintyre LodgeLocated in the vibrant regional city of Dubbo, BaptistCare Kintyre Lodge is a welcoming, homely aged care home, offering 81 single bedrooms.
