Job Description We are currently searching for a quality Cleaning Team Leader to assist the Supervisor in the cleaning operations of the Centre and ultimately ensuring all public areas of the Centre are immaculately cleaned and ready for our guests.
ABOUT THE ROLE: Key responsibilities of this role include:
Lead the team on the floor and manage cleaning tasks as required. Provide motivation to the team to strive to achieve the highest level of team performance. Participate in the training of team members in cleaning tasks and equipment use. Acquire all the necessary information about the Events to ensure it is adequately serviced with respect to cleaning tasks. Assist with the supervision of team members, ensuring they observe all company policies and procedures, perform tasks correctly, within the allocated timeframes and to the required standards. Ensure all team members take breaks at the appropriate time slots and rostered hours are maintained. Actively participate in all cleaning tasks associated with both public and back of house areas to a very high standard. Ensure that all guest requests for amenities and services are promptly attended to. Report maintenance issues and attend to special cleaning assignments. Assist with guest enquiries. Report any team member issues to the Cleaning Supervisor or Senior Cleaning Supervisor in a timely manner. ABOUT YOU: The ideal candidate for this role will have the following skills, knowledge, personal attributes and experience:
Knowledge of the hospitality industry. Minimum 2 – 3 years commercial cleaning experience. Ability to successfully lead a team, provide instructions, guidance and feedback to team members. High attention to detail, communication and organisational skills. Sound computers skills, including MS Office skills (word, excel and outlook).
