The Facility and Assets group provides local and contracted facility and asset management services.About the Role:The Facility and Assets Maintenance Officer is responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the effective and efficient operation of facilities and assets. Some of your duties will include:Performing routine maintenance and repairs of facilities, including cabinetry, minor carpentry, general welding, painting, and landscaping.Acting as a Trades Assistant for licensed tradespersons, providing necessary support to ensure efficient completion of specialised maintenance tasks.Assisting with grounds maintenance activities to maintain a safe and aesthetically pleasing environment.About You:As our ideal candidate, you will possess:Experience in performing cabinetry repairs, minor carpentry, welding, painting, landscaping, and small plant and equipment maintenance.The ability to diagnose and correct technical faults, modify routine procedures, and perform technical data analysis for improved maintenance operations.Experience assisting with grounds maintenance and acting as a Trades Assistant.An understanding of relevant legislation, regulations, policies, and procedures.Qualifications/Requirements:A certificate II qualification in a related field is 'desirable' but not mandatory.How to Apply:Please click the Apply button on this advertisement.
