THE IDEAL CANDIDATE The facilities team is growing, and we have a brand-new trade-qualified and hands-on Facilities Supervisor role available.
As the Facilities Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of day-to-day and long-term facilities management across our new Melbourne assets.
You will work closely with Facilities Managers and Facilities Technicians to provide the best services to our residents.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference.
The Facilities Supervisor will provide on-the-ground leadership to the on-site team, coordinating activities such as deliveries, task completion, hands-on repairs, maintenance, and supervision of the Facilities Technicians.
All efforts will focus on identifying ways to enhance the experience for our residents both now and in the future.
To be successful, you will have: A trades background or relevant tertiary qualification is desired.
Previous experience working with third-party contractors (desirable).
An understanding of general building services (e.g., fire, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and vertical transport).
Experience managing a team with a high level of responsibility.
Proactivity, commitment, and high attention to detail.
Strong communication skills that promote positive interactions with stakeholders and residents.
Knowledge of safe and efficient operating procedures.
Experience in leading and training a team to provide excellent customer experiences.
Ability to ensure accuracy and timeliness of all tasks.
Please note: Shifts are from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm.
There may be some Saturdays, occasional Sundays, and public holidays.
