What we are looking for: We're looking for someone with extensive experience in the building industry to join our team as a Facilities Officer.
You'll be responsible for coordinating and supervising the facilities maintenance and minor capital works requirements for Council buildings and Facilities.

What your day will look like: Preparing Asset Condition and Building Inspection Reports for buildingsPreparing scope of worksCompleting detailed inspectionsPreparing and implementing annual maintenance schedulesSupervising contractors, tradespersons and other service providersPreparing Quotation and Tender documentsYou will have a number of years experience in the building industry with exposure to project and facilities management.
You'll be happy working in a role that will see you office bound at times, then out on sites involved at others.
This role will require you to be on site and at times, some heavy lifting, so a degree of physical fitness is required.
