A very exciting opportunity has opened at St John WA for a Facilities Manager to join our property team. This is a full-time permanent position based at our head office in Belmont. You will have direct reports and will be responsible for ensuring the longevity of all building assets and managing and developing the building support team.

What you'll do: Ensure the Preventative and Reactive maintenance for all managed facilities is planned and executed including but not limited to: HVAC, Security, Access Control Systems. Monitor utilisation of resources to ensure effective and efficient progress is maintained, including budgets. Investigate contractor selection and develop work scope. Establish realistic and achievable objectives for the development and implementation of initiatives and agreed deadlines to meet stakeholder expectations. Monitor relevant legislation and compliance for changes that have the potential to impact operations. Prepare documents to enable scopes of work, quotes, and costings for selected preventative, reactive & projects works. Initiate cost saving options across all areas of Facility Management and document these initiatives for use by other team members. Assist in any other area as directed by the Line Manager or delegate. What you'll need: Practical experience within a facilities management portfolio. Tertiary qualification in Management, Facility management or relevant field. Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar environment. WorkSafe Construction Induction Card (White Card). C class drivers' license. Demonstrated capacity to build positive working relationships and communicate at all levels across a diverse demographic of internal and external stakeholders that ensures successful outcomes. Demonstrated ability to address issues or proposed initiatives requiring research using problem solving and analytical skills. Ability to adapt and utilise corporate information systems and MS Office applications to an intermediate or advanced level.
