We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Facilities Manager to join our team working with our major client – Placemaking NSW. Located at The Rocks, you will manage all the FM services for the harbourside precinct which includes more than 100 heritage buildings, unique venues, waterways, and other high profile public domain areas.
Reporting to the Senior Facilities Manager, you will be fully supported by a diverse team of FM's and Facility Coordinators to assist you.
Here's a snapshot of your day: Manage services supporting critical environments and specialist service providers including but not limited to essential fire safety systems, mechanical services, BMCS, UPS, Emergency Power Generations systems, critical environments condenser water systems, SCADA, and hydraulic services.Carry out building inspections under the building's operating model & document findings.Manage operating expenditure and ensure efficient, sustainable, and cost-effective maintenance and development of hard and soft services within the precinct.Manage minor works as required.Carry out routine precinct inspections and document issues for action.Here are strengths you'll possess and the background you'll need to be successful: Demonstrated experience in Facilities Management or Operations with a strong focus on fire and mechanical.Ideally possess a trade background in either Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing services and project management experience.Proven experience in managing services supporting critical environments.Sound understanding of legislative requirements around facilities management services.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.Strong time management and organisational skills with the flexibility to work autonomously across different sites.Can we inspire you to join us?
