Facilities Manager

John Hill & co is looking to hire a Facilities Manager on a full-time basis.  The Facilities Manager is responsible for the strategic administration and operational management of maintenance and capital improvement for buildings managed by John Hill & Co. This role ensures that all facilities are maintained to the highest standards, comply with regulatory requirements, and meet the needs of tenants and stakeholders.  An indicative salary for the position is $85k + super.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee the maintenance and servicing of air-conditioning systems.Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.Coordinate the preparation and submission of Annual Fire Safety Statements.Ensure all fire safety equipment and systems are regularly inspected and maintained.Manage contracts for the maintenance and upgrading of lifts.Ensure lifts are compliant with safety standards and operational requirements.Oversee asbestos management plans and ensure regular reporting and compliance.Coordinate asbestos removal and remediation projects as needed.Manage cleaning contracts to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.Conduct regular inspections and address any issues promptly.Manage security contracts to ensure the safety and security of all buildings.Implement and monitor security protocols and systems.Ensure all buildings comply with health and safety regulations.Conduct regular health and safety audits and address any non-compliance issues.Plan and oversee upgrades to buildings, including but not limited to the upgrade and replacement of all plant and equipment.Ensure upgrades are completed on time and within budget.Manage projects related to regulatory compliance.
