Property Network of Australia is seeking a Facilities & Maintenance Manager to join a mission-driven not-for-profit organisation. Our client is focused on providing safe, compliant, and well-maintained environments across a significant property portfolio with assets located in QLD, NSW, and SA. We are seeking an FM professional who has exposure to community-based assets and a NfP working environment.
Based in either Wollongong or Orange, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing FM & Maintenance activities across a portfolio of assets within this geographical corridor, as well as a new facility located in Adelaide. The role supports the full maintenance cycle, ensuring standards of safety, cleanliness, and functionality are met and optimised. It is a newly created role for this growing organisation, with a strong focus on compliance.
Key Duties & Responsibilities: Oversee the maintenance of buildings, grounds, and equipment with effective planning and compliance. Lead annual maintenance planning with site managers, ensuring legislative and policy adherence. Develop asset service plans, building condition reports, and lifecycle replacement strategies. Manage project-based works, including upgrades, refurbishments, and minor construction. Approve work orders, manage invoicing, and respond promptly to maintenance requests. Conduct regular audits to proactively address safety and compliance issues. Support fleet logistics and represent the organisation during regulatory inspections. Maintain accurate records for compliance, safety, and financial commitments. The ideal candidate will have: Qualifications or extensive experience in facilities, building, or construction management. Previous/existing experience of working for a not-for-profit organisation. A full driver's license (travel to sites between Wollongong & Orange). Proven experience managing maintenance for a large property portfolio. Expertise in project management, including capex projects and refurbishments. Excellent stakeholder management skills, with a customer-focused approach.
