Experience it hereThe Program:Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is a Strategic Industry Partner for the development of the Australian Guided Weapons and Explosive Ordnance (GWEO) Enterprise with goals to enhance self-reliance, supply chain resilience, and developing a guided weapons manufacturing capability in Australia. The Strategic Capabilities Office (SCO) will oversee the execution of GWEO initiatives.Your responsibilities will include:If you're ready to play a key role in supporting Lockheed Martin Australia's mission and ensure the successful development of state-of-the-art facilities, we'd love to hear from you.Lockheed Martin Australia (LMA) is offering an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Engineering Manager to join our team. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in supporting the construction of sensitive and high-security facilities, including Sensitive Compartmentalized Facilities,, and ensuring compliance with government approvals and regulations.Key Responsibilities:Review and Scope: Oversee and manage the design, construction, and operational phases of facilities, ensuring they meet project scope, quality, and safety standards.Construction Oversight: Lead and support the construction efforts of sensitive compartmentalised facilities, in accordance with strict government security standards.Government Approvals: Ensure that all relevant government approvals and regulatory requirements are met, including compliance with security and safety standards.Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and government entities to ensure timely delivery of facilities and adherence to specifications.Risk Management: Identify potential risks and provide solutions to mitigate issues related to construction and facility operations.Quality Assurance: Monitor the performance and quality of facilities to ensure they meet the highest standards in security, functionality, and sustainability.About you:Qualifications and Experience:Experience with explosive ordnance facilities, including storage magazines and processing facilities.Experience with aviation/airport facilities including aircraft maintenance hangars, aprons and associated airside infrastructureExtensive relevant experience with the development of major Defence capital works projects.Extensive experience with stakeholder engagement and presentation of design.Experience with Defence Capital Works and delivery strategies.Significant experience with the leadership of large, interdisciplinary engineering design teams.Significant experience in cost estimation to the requirements of the Commonwealth Property Management Framework and environmental assessments and approvals.Special Requirements:Applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance and employment may be contingent on the provision of further personal information including citizenship to ensure compliance with international export control legislation and regulationsWhat we offer you:When you join Lockheed Martin, you work on projects you won't experience anywhere else.We offer you a range of benefits built to suit you, no matter what stage of life you are inFlexible work & Hybrid work optionsAccess to our online discounts program offering immediate discounts or cashbackA variety of leave options including Purchase Leave to support you and your familyAdditional benefits such as Novated Leasing and Fitness ProgramsLearning & Development platforms to encourage ongoing self-developmentEqual Opportunity StatementLockheed Martin recognises and actively promotes the benefits of a diverse workforce and is committed to treating all employees with dignity and respect regardless of race, gender, disability, age, sexual orientation, religion or belief.
