Your role at St John of God Burwood Hospital You will provide day-to-day engineering activities and maintenance services for Burwood Hospital, ensuring compliance requirements and designated timeframes are met.
The Facilities Coordinator ensures a safe, comfortable, and attractive environment is maintained, consistent with St John of God Health Care policies and complies with necessary statutory regulations and legislation.
The role has a direct reporting relationship to the Facilities Manager.
The Position Liaise with the contracted service providers, ensuring the contracted tasks are completed correctly and on time.Collaborate with the Facilities Manager to maintain all buildings, plant, equipment, and surroundings to all statutory and accreditation standards.Ensure all buildings and plant are maintained in accordance with regulations governing Health care establishments in NSW.Assume responsibility for manufacturer's service manual specifications, Burwood vehicles, pest control management, and contractor management.Provide after-hours emergency support to the hospital regarding maintenance issues when on-call.Assume direct responsibility for the safety of electrical equipment, including patients' electrical appliances/equipment submitted for checks to maintenance by clinical staff.Minimum Requirements Successful applicants will hold a technical/trade certificate in electrical, plumbing, or metal work and/or extensive working experience in Facility Management in commercial, hospital, or Health Care establishments. You will require an NSW driver's licence and a Workcover NSW Workplace Health and Safety General Induction White Card.
