University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation TrustWe are now recruiting to 2 Facilities Assistant positions To work as a member of the Facilities Management Team to carry out a comprehensive range of cleaning and portering tasks throughout Sir Robert Peel Hospital, Tamworth.
The role will include supporting the Seasonal Deep Cleaning program, and you may be required to support the catering patient feeding service.
Various shifts on weekdays and weekends included - please see attached rota.
Main Duties of the JobMain duties of a Facilities Assistant working at Sir Robert Peel Community Hospital are to work as part of Facilities and ward/department teams, to carry out a variety of tasks associated with cleaning, portering, and patient catering.
This can be a physically challenging role, so applicants must have a good understanding of customer care and be able to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and visitors.
Similar work experience in a healthcare setting is desirable but not essential; therefore, specific training will be given.
