We are now looking for a Facilities & Assets Supervisor to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.

You will play a pivotal role in upholding the highest health and safety standards and ensuring the exceptional quality of our facilities and assets, contributing to a safe working environment and making a significant impact across the organisation.

The Role As our Facilities & Assets Supervisor, you will manage the effective operation of our facilities and assets, ensuring health & safety policies and requirements are always met.

You'll ensure compliance with health & safety and legal requirements across the Head Office, the building and plant yard and our commercial fleet, supervising all facility and fleet services to maintain the highest standards.

Effectively sourcing all required assets, you'll aim to secure the most cost-effective solutions and oversee the movement of owned assets, ensuring statutory inspections are kept up to date and that assets are being maintained as per manufacturers' recommendations.

Additionally, you will:

Provide effective leadership to the Plant Engineer / Fitter Service OperationsCo-ordinate contractors and service contractsEnsure repairs are timely and undertaken effectivelyManage service and utility contractsEnsure all vehicles are safe and insured and any repairs & maintenance is up to dateProduce and control annual budgetsSupport Project Teams About You To be considered as our Facilities & Assets Supervisor, you will need:

Experience in a similar roleA strong understanding of health and safety regulations within the construction industryKnowledge and experience in using Asset Management and Microsoft Office softwareExperience in managing a small teamKnowledge of current and future Building Safety requirementsExceptional attention to detail in cost reporting, ensuring accuracy and precision in financial data analysisThe ability to negotiate contracts, liaise with suppliers and resolve conflicts diplomaticallyThe ability to write reports using appropriate business languageStrong leadership skillsGCSE level qualifications in English and MathsA full, valid driving licence The closing date for this role is 3rd December 2024.
