About the Role
Liebherr-Australia has a rare career opportunity for a hands-on Fabrication Supervisor to join our Mining Production facility located in our Head Office at Para Hills West. Reporting to the Fabrication Manager, and with the support of your Team Leaders, you will lead from the front to drive meaningful change whilst overseeing the operations over two shifts. Your safety focus whilst driving efficient and compliant delivery of fabrication and repair services to the Mining Division will be a testament to our Liebherr-Australia brand.
Key Responsibilities: Lead by example and hold safety at the forefront of daily activities Provide effective leadership through clear direction and ensure the supervision and training of all staff is met in full Actively contribute to and drive continuous improvement and efficient workflows Provide technical expertise on relevant standards to ensure compliance is met As needed, assist with budget management and forecasting for operations Build and maintain effective relationships with customers and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of projects on time and to specifications Ensure quality requirements are met Qualifications, Skills and Experience: Certificate III in Engineering (Fabrication) with a minimum of 5 years of industry experience Welding Supervision (AS2214) and/or International Welding Specialist Certification Proven experience in managing teams, preferably within a fabrication environment and across shifts Excellent verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated expertise in quality assurance processes Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think and act quickly Diversity and Inclusion
