Your responsibilities will include: Located in Williamtown, NSW, As a F-35 Information Systems administrator, you will provide first class Offboard Information Systems to allow F-35 Force projection in defence of Australia and its National Interests.
Primary responsibilities:   You will be responsible for the installation, upgrade, configuration, maintenance, and support of Off-board Mission Systems that underlie the F-35 mission planning cycle.
Conduct analysis and perform troubleshooting on a multitude of user and system predicaments.
The F-35 Off-Board Mission Systems administrator must have strong communication skills as they'll serve as the primary point of contact for any enquiries or problems raised by F-35 Information System users.
Supporting the F-35 information systems may necessitate both domestic and international travel.
Duties will include but not limited to:   Administration, upgrading, patching, maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of windows systems, network devices, and Controlled Cryptographic Items (CCI).
Information Management.
Undertake the maintenance, storage, and management of data including all associated applications relevant to the F-35 Information systems; Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) Operational Data Integrated Network (ODIN) Mission Planning Support Environment (MPSE) Backup/Restore/Disaster Recovery: Run application for system settings and Registry backups.
About you: Substantial experience with Windows system administration, hardware/software management, release management, configuration management and incident management.
A strong team player capable of working within small teams.
Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
A passion to learn and grow in multiple disciplines within Information Technology industry.
Desirable    Tertiary qualifications from an accredited institution in a related discipline (typically Information Technology).
Experience with delivering training and/or knowledge transfer to junior/inexperienced administrators.
Substantial experience in contributing and providing effective guidance, mentoring, and training to other employees.
SQL Server 2012R2+ experience.
Virtualization (VMWare preferred) experience.
Special Requirements: Applicants must hold and maintain an NV1 Australian Defence Security Clearance with the ability to obtain NV2.
