Perform and oversee vessel maintenance in line with the planned maintenance schedule and budget.Supervise and support personnel involved in engineering tasks.Operate winches and other machinery during operations.Prepare maintenance and operational reports, and report defects promptly.Ensure compliance with Svitzer's policies and environmental regulations.Participate in operational improvement initiatives.Ensure day-to-day operations comply with all relevant environmental regulations.What You'll Bring We're looking for individuals who are reliable, safety-focused, and have a true passion for the maritime industry. To thrive in this role, you'll bring:
A minimum Engineer Class 3 Certificate of Competency (or equivalent).Statements of Attainment in Provide First Aid (HLTAID003) and CPR (HLTAID001).A current AMSA Medical and a valid MSIC.A collaborative spirit and the ability to foster strong working relationships.Effective communication skills.A calm and clear thinker who can make good decisions under pressure.Strong problem-solving abilities.Comfortable with technology, including basic computer skills.If you're excited about building your career in the maritime industry and want to work with a team that values passion, teamwork, and excellence, we'd love to hear from you.
