The role
The Modernization Business Development Manager is responsible for the management of key customers in a competitive environment, with a focus on refurbishment projects and solution sales, both by organic sales and new business opportunities.
You will also review the HVAC service industry/market and provide communication on new market strategies and develop new business opportunities to achieve profit targets, through the identification and attraction of new markets and customers.
Key responsibilities
We are looking for a solution-oriented Modernization Business Development Manager with the ability to provide an excellent experience to internal clients and our clients in the field.
Therefore, you will:

Build and cultivate professional working relationships with customers internally and externally to achieve individual goals leading to increased sales, service, and customer satisfaction.
Maintain communication with management regarding market trends, opposition go-to-market strategies, individual activities, and opportunities.
Prepare and conduct presentations to prospective customers to achieve sales growth objectives.
Identify mechanical HVAC and Controls refurbishment works while providing a turnkey solution from the existing service base or new customers.
Develop creative solutions while meeting the project scope/intention to ensure the best outcome for the customer and project.
Work with Account managers to conduct site reviews and audits to provide lifecycle solutions for inefficient and aged equipment for the service asset base.
Develop strategic plans to achieve new business targets as directed.
Carry out and correlate cost estimates for sales submissions to ensure the best price and solution put forward.
Prepare internal documents for sales handover to the project team prior to contract commencement.
Ensure self-time management to fulfill the needs of individual and priority customers.
Prepare regular updates of new business development, opportunities, and targets for the CRM.
Requirements :

Proven capability in a Business Development role or similar.
Sound knowledge and experience in the HVAC industry – mandatory.
Strong customer service focus.
Results-oriented individual with a strong attention to detail.
Ability to communicate professionally & effectively to individuals and large groups alike e.g.
Tender review boards, consultants, etc.
Excellent self-organization and time management skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to motivate others.
Demonstrated success in organizing multiple and diverse tasks within a flexible working environment.
Ability to develop and deliver presentations e.g.
PowerPoint.
Experience in reviewing & negotiating commercial contract terms.
