JOB DESCRIPTION Our Infrastructure and Deals Tax group covers work in the infrastructure, private equity and large listed/unlisted corporate industries assisting our clients with solving difficult commercial and tax problems.
Our client base includes some of Australia's (and the worlds) largest listed infrastructure entities, Australian superannuation funds, foreign pension funds, hedge funds, private equity funds, Australian and foreign fund managers and Australian asset operators as well as large multinational clients.
We deliver effective solutions blending technical skills and strategy to advise these organisations with spectacular results.
And we're looking for tax professionals to take our team to the next level, as we manage a prestigious portfolio of infrastructure and deals related clients, assisting them to solve complex commercial and tax challenges within our vast community of solvers.

As a leader in the Infrastructure and Deals Tax team, you'll make a real impact in a workplace that's human-led and tech-enabled.
Responsibilities: Help support the development of investment structures for our clients, with a particular focus on inbound investment structures, including limited partnerships, taxation of trusts and Managed Investment Trusts (MITs) Work closely with our wider Tax and Financial Advisory business (including stamp duty, transfer pricing and GST), Advisory, Consulting, Legal, Valuations and Private Clients teams to support M&A projects Assist clients with Merger and Acquisition (M&A) activities, including tax structuring and tax due diligence services, and Sale and Purchase Agreements Research and analyse technical tax issues and preparation of tax reports Assist clients with their tax compliance, including preparing and/or reviewing of trust and company tax returns Work with the Australian Tax Office (ATO) to obtain rulings for clients, and make submissions to Treasury on policy matters Contribute to business development initiatives and proposals Prepare for and attend meetings with clients Requirements: Professional tax advisory experience in a Professional Services setting Experience delivering complex projects Excellent written and communications skills The ability to collaborate and build relationships in a complex work environment And importantly, you act with integrity and show care for the people you work with Relevant qualifications It's time to move forward.
