Key Responsibilities: Accurately process payroll on a regular schedule, ensuring timely payment to employees.
Maintain employee records, including hours worked, wages, deductions, and benefits information.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal payroll laws and regulations, including tax withholdings and reporting requirements.
Address payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies or issues raised by employees or management.
Manage payroll software systems, including updates and troubleshooting, to ensure accurate payroll processing.
Attributes & Qualifications:  Australian Public Service payroll experience Experience with payroll systems A commitment to maintaining the confidentiality and security of sensitive employee information.
