About the Role Pacific Islands International has an exciting opportunity for a driven Export Manager to join the Sales team.
Using your strong influential skills, and reporting to the General Manager of Sales, this role will be responsible for the management of the export sales of our French Pacific Regions (New Caledonia, French Polynesia) as well as other regions in our market where required.
Overall role requirements include: Manage the day-to-day sales of your regions.Business development in consideration of changing market dynamics.Communication in French will be required, so a solid understanding of the language is preferred; French-speaking candidates preferred.Manage product offers to customers based on supply availability.Manage customer relationships end-to-end to ensure ongoing business opportunities.New product development in response to customer demand.Undertake forecasting, scheduling, and annual budgeting to meet business expectations.About You It is essential that you have the following experience/skills:
At least two (2+) years of demonstrated successful experience within an export sales and marketing environment.Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary sales approaches to customers.At least three (3+) years of demonstrated successful experience within an export trading environment in a managerial capacity.Computer literacy and analytical skills.Knowledge of building/construction materials, global consumer trends, financial markets, and trade policies of major export markets.What's in it for You Annual bonus.Working with a welcoming team.All within a stable, Australian-owned business that fosters a supportive culture of learning and development for all its people.
