Overview:Our client, an ASX-Listed critical minerals explorer, is currently searching for an Exploration Manager to join the leadership team and support the advancement of its North American lithium projects.
Position Overview:As Exploration Manager, you will be at the forefront of the company's exploration efforts, responsible for devising and executing strategic plans for a world-class portfolio of lithium projects. Reporting to the CEO, duties will include:
Direct the design, execution and management of exploration programs, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets and safety protocols;Develop and communicate a visionary exploration strategy in alignment with the company's objectives;Collaborate with the board, internal management, consultants and contractors to ensure informed decision-making in relation to discovery efforts;As projects advance, contribute to the development of resource models, guiding project development strategies;Ensure positive relationships with local communities, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders;Identify opportunities for improvement and operational efficiency to achieve superior exploration outcomes across company projects;Drive business development outcomes, ensuring awareness to market conditions and portfolio acquisition or divestment opportunities.Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Geoscience discipline - Postgraduate qualifications advantageous;Proven leadership experience managing robust exploration programs;Strength of experience in lithium exploration;Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate cross-functional teams;Proficiency with geological modelling software, GIS tools, etc;Excellent written and verbal communication skills;Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions in complex scenarios.Benefits:Competitive compensation package;Opportunities for career progression and professional development;An exciting leadership position driving a battery metals growth story;Collaborative team working environment.Application Process:Interested candidates are invited to submit their resumes and a cover letter detailing their qualifications and experience.
