Company:

Sonda Recruitment

Details of the offer

Experienced Project Manager - Urban Development Australian owned urban development consultancy in the inner east. Project Management role. Run whole projects end to end. Salary circa $140k - $165k p/a package, depending on experience A reputable, developing consultant. A specialist in urban development with agency and autonomy provided in the workplace. You'll be accountable here to your peers, not a manager.
The company A highly reputable Australian group; known for their work in the sub-divisions sector (predominantly greenfields). Their close relationships with clients, forged over time and built on trust, puts them in a great position - whilst they are 'small', they are mighty.
The vacancy This is a Project Management role to look after whole projects between 100 and 3000 lots. We aren't seeking 25 years' experience, more like 5 as a PM with some design in civils prior. It's a really good, solid, mid-level to senior PM role.
The role You'll be working in an office of around 20 colleagues compromising civil engineers, designers, drafters and support staff. The role reports to a company Director yet the company overall firmly believes in accountability; teams are set up project by project and not into disciplines and you will manage your own portfolio, time frames and budgets and your accountability will be to your peers.
You've obviously been a Land development PM before so you know what's involved. Your time will be spent in project meetings and managing projects, contract administration, managing resources and client expectations.
You'll be in charge of financials for the project too. This can be taught if you haven't done it in your role previously, as can support for tendering on new work.
About you Engineering (Civil) degree Melbourne based PM experience in land development An open mind and an understanding that schedules and time frames change regularly. For more information or to apply If you'd like to find out more, please call Miriam Taylor on or email No need for a C.V. right now, just give me a buzz.
Miriam has recruited in the engineering design space for 15 years. Her approach is respectful, insightful and professional. If you'd like to explore this or other options, or your career prospects in a more general manner, do call to discuss.
Project Manage sub-divisions across Victoria and be accountable for them end-to-end, through the full life cycle. A burgeoning consulting firm.
