About the role 4-8 PQESydney BasedWe are currently looking for a hardworking, passionate and committed Associate/Senior Associate to join our warm, friendly and talented team. We service the full spectrum of employment law needs of private sector employers and all three tiers of government. In this role you will have the opportunity to work across a broad range of areas including employment, industrial relations and discrimination. Our team also works in all of the tribunals and courts.

About you As our new Employment Lawyer you will be dedicated to helping our clients meet their objectives to develop practical and innovative solutions. You will need to be conscientious, have the highest standards of professional conduct and want to continuously improve on everything you do. A strong attention to detail, excellent analytical & drafting skills, a critical and inquisitive mind, and strong communication skills are highly valued.
To excel in this role you will also need to:
Have experience in either transactional/corporate support employment work or work health and safety (WHS);Be a team player;Willing to support and mentor junior members of the team;Manage your time efficiently and use initiative;Be pro-active and prioritise activities according to level of need;Work autonomously, while having a collaborative attitude in an environment that values the team;Remain calm under pressure.Maddocks is simply a great place to do great work.
