This full-time role is essential in maintaining and servicing conveyor belt systems across various sites. You'll play a crucial role in the execution of tasks and ensuring the quality of work at various client sites.What You'll Be Doing:Inspect, diagnose, and repair conveyor belt systems, including splicing, tensioning, and aligning beltsPerform preventative maintenance on conveyor belt systems to minimise downtime and ensure optimal performanceTroubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues related to conveyor belt operationsCollaborate with the wider maintenance team to coordinate efficient and effective conveyor belt servicingEnsure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and company policiesMaintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and job tasksRequirements:Entry Level: Mechanical aptitude or previous experience in labouring or trades roles within the heavy industry is advantageous.Experienced: Cert 3 in Polymer Processing or working towards this qualification.Strong work ethic and a commitment to safetyValid Driver's Licence (manual preferred)HR licence is an advantageAbility to pass a Coal Board pre-employment medical, including a full functional assessment and drug & alcohol test.Location Requirements:This is NOT a DIDO or FIFO role.
