Apprentice Heavy Vehicle Mechanic

Description   We are currently looking for a Heavy Vehicle Apprentice to join our Newcastle Workshop.
As an Apprentice, your primary objective is to actively participate in an apprenticeship program under the guidance of experienced technicians and mentors.
This involves learning and mastering the fundamental principles of heavy vehicle mechanics, such as diagnosing mechanical issues, conducting routine inspections, performing scheduled maintenance tasks and utilising diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.
The Opportunity: Work towards and complete a Cert III Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Technology - actively participate in training programs, workshops and educational opportunities enhance technical skills, expand knowledge and progress towards becoming a qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic.
Full-time Permanent Position | Monday to Friday.
Support technicians in performing routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, tyre rotations and lubrication to ensure vehicles are operating efficiently.
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues whilst learning technical skills.
Maintain cleanliness and organisations along with adhering to safety procedures and guidelines.
