Experienced Bookkeeper

Our Client is located in the western suburbs and provides a range of tax, advisory, compliance and bookkeeping services to their SME clients.


They now wish to hire an experienced Bookkeeper to join their team.  This is a newly created position where you will work with the Business Services Accountants, Administrators and Managers; assisting the various business owners with their bookkeeping functions.
   
It a varied role where you will be providing a range of bookkeeping services to include: accounts payable; payroll; reconciliations; BAS/IAS preparations;
new client onboarding, training clients in Xero and general accounts administration support.

The ideal candidate will: Have at least 3 years of bookkeeping experience working in an accounting firm Be skilled in MYOB and Xero and the Xero add-ons Have experience in preparing BAS/IAS and completing GST reconciliations  Have experience in payroll in Xero and/or MYOB Have experience in month end close bookkeeping and reconciliations Be proficient with the Microsoft Office suite Work well in a team environment Display excellent written and verbal communication skills Enjoy challenges and learning new skills Possess a Cert IV or Diploma in Bookkeeping preferred - but not essential This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper, who is professional, detail-focused, enjoys communicating with clients and can share a laugh with the team.
