Experience Designer - Ui/Ux Specialist

About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Experience Designer to join our team at Electronic Arts' Firemonkeys Studio in Melbourne. As an Experience Designer, you will play a crucial role in designing innovative, high-quality, and engaging games for iOS and Android devices.
Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including game designers, programmers, and producers, to resolve complex player problems and enhance the overall gaming experience.Design and implement visually appealing, innovative, and engaging user experiences using our in-house tools.Work closely with the XD Lead, Designer, and Producer to create and produce incredible visual experiences and interactions.Conduct user research, user flow, wireframing, and prototyping to identify and address pain points in the gaming experience.Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our players' needs and preferences to inform design decisions.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UX/UI design to continuously improve our gaming experience.Collaborate with the UI style guide team to develop and maintain our UI library and address graphical and technical limitations.Advocate for the player experience and identify opportunities to improve it while preserving the unique design of our games.Requirements: 5+ years of experience in videogame and/or relatable App UI experience within Web or Digital.Strong portfolio showcasing UX/UI design work, including interaction designs and key frame animations.Proficiency with Adobe CS, Illustrator, Photoshop, XD, and Figma.Ability to learn in-house UI development tools.Experience in user research, user flow, wireframing, and prototyping.Strong communication skills and team player.A passion for video games, art, and improving user experience.
