Fast paced and creative environment Leading Cultural Institution with a dynamic team Role Details The Exhibitions Manager is responsible for project managing the operational planning and presentation of AGSA exhibitions and collection displays including managing the Exhibition schedule, budget, and working closely with curatorial, registration, and operations teams to deliver strong audience-focused exhibitions underpinned by safe, sustainable and cost-effective exhibition design processes and practices. The Exhibitions Manager manages the scheduling and staging of the AGSA Exhibition Program, including pillar contemporary art programs the Adelaide Biennial of Australian Art and the Ramsay Art Prize, and manages historical and contemporary exhibitions and collection displays on site at AGSA, as well as overseeing touring programs, with varying lead times and complex requirements.
Special Conditions The Incumbent will be required to participate in the department's Performance Management Program. The Incumbent may be assigned to another position at this remuneration level or equivalent. Some work outside of normal hours will be required. This role requires a National Criminal History check.
