The Royal Scottish Society of Painters in Watercolour (RSW) is looking for a highly motivated and resourceful individual to manage and deliver their Annual Exhibition.
The Royal Scottish Society of Painters in Watercolour (RSW) is looking for a highly motivated and resourceful individual to manage and deliver the Society's Annual Exhibition which will be held in the Royal Scottish Academy in January 2025.
The RSW is a renowned society of artists with a rich history of supporting visual artists in Scotland and promoting the use of water based painting. It is a charity, and the successful candidate will join a small team of artists and an administrator who manages the Society.
The successful applicant will have strong administrative and interpersonal skills and be capable of working in a fast paced, creative environment.
Fee: £7000 (approx. 58 days work, hourly rate £16 per hour)
Hours: Variable over a six-month period. A full breakdown is available in the application pack.
Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract from September 2024 – February 2025
Location: Edinburgh
