About the Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an Exercise Physiologist to join our Allied Health team, working with clients in their own homes and in our Seniors Gym.
You will be responsible for supporting the development, as well as facilitating the implementation and review of the strength and balance programs in line with each client's needs and goals.
Key responsibilities include: Conducting health screenings and functional re-assessmentsFacilitating, monitoring and reviewing both group and individual exercise programsWorking with clients, their families, co-workers as well as other services so that the service we deliver is the best it can beWhat are we looking for A degree in Exercise PhysiologyAccreditation with Exercise and Sport Science Australia (ESSA)A current Australian Driver's License and access to your own vehicleExperience working in an Aged Care environmentGreat communication and customer service skills and the ability to get along easily with othersA gift for working collaboratively with a team and confident flying soloExperience with Gym supervisionWorking knowledge of gym equipmentAbility to organise and conduct health screening and functional assessmentsComputer Skills – Microsoft Office and OutlookWhat We Offer You: A rewarding career with a leading human services organisation.Up to $18,550 NFP salary packaging available.Access to our U rewards program with exclusive discounts.Access to Fitness Passport – Live your best life.A supportive, inclusive, and collaborative work environmentA commitment to offer opportunities to grow your careerPurchase of additional leaveWhat to expect Please know that employment with Uniting requires:
