Exercise Physiologist - Rethinking RecoveryFull-timeState: NSWJob Status: Full TimeIPAR is a national occupational rehabilitation provider supporting thousands of people who may be living with an illness, disability, or injury. Our care is tailored to each individual through workplace rehabilitation, counselling, injury prevention, or finding new employment. We work with our clients to identify their goals and provide psychological or physical supports to help them live life to its fullest potential.We are seeking individuals with a professional background in Exercise Physiology interested in working in the Occupational Rehabilitation sector in the Wagga Wagga NSW area.In this diverse role, you will enjoy the flexibility and autonomy to manage your day, supported by a strong team of healthcare professionals. You will provide occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of conditions, both physical and psychological, and support them to achieve return to health and work outcomes.Duties of the role include:Case management (caseloads are manageable, and our consultants have the support of Rehabilitation Assistants to alleviate administrative tasks);Applying your clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes;Working with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs;Working collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals;Completing a variety of assessments using your clinical and discipline-specific allied health skills, such as Functional Capacity Evaluations, Worksite Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, and Activities of Daily Living Assessments;Deliver our innovative virtual reality pain education program, Re-thinking Recovery.Minimum requirements include:Tertiary qualification in Exercise Physiology and registration with ESSA;Previous experience in the Occupational Rehabilitation industry is highly regarded;Excellent communication skills;Compassion and empathy;Strong time management skills;A current NSW Driver's License and access to your own car with comprehensive insurance.Our core values are at the heart of our work:Integrity: Honest, ethical, and transparent communication;Collaboration: Enabling each other to thrive within a culture of fun and high performance;Customer Experience: Delivering exceptional service every time;Quality & Innovation: Actively seeking new opportunities and continually improving;Sustainability: Delivering meaningful outcomes for our team, customers, and communities.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer, proudly welcoming people with disabilities, diverse cultural backgrounds, the LGBTQI community, veterans, carers, and Indigenous Australians to our team.#J-18808-Ljbffr
