About the role:The Exercise Physiologist (EP) will be responsible for delivering clinical services in accordance with clinical scope and experience as part of a multi-disciplinary residential mental health rehabilitation program.
This position will include the testing, prescribing, and supervising exercise and related health promotion education and screening activities for clients of the program in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team of health professionals.
About you:Mandatory qualification/s: Applicants must hold at least a tertiary degree (or equivalent) qualification in exercise physiology or human movement studies; recognised in Queensland and be an accredited member or eligible for accreditation with Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA).Deliver exercise physiology services within a multidisciplinary team in accordance with professional and ethical standards through the application of exercise physiology knowledge and skills with minimal need for direct clinical practice supervision.Develop, implement and evaluate group-based education and treatment programs.Actively participate in the professional development of self and others through education, appropriate supervision, mentoring and professional networking.What we offer:Salary information: Total remuneration value of up to $132,567 p.a.
