Job Description Join the Kieser Essendon team as an Exercise Physiologist, a role dedicated to safely prescribing and supervising exercise and strength training for our clients with diverse health and medical needs including those impacted by chronic disease and those undertaking injury rehabilitation.
By combining traditional exercise physiology methods with education on the benefits of strength training for prevention and treatment of health and medical conditions, our team empowers clients to restore strength and confidence, enabling them to continue enjoying the things they love most. Responsibilities include:
Develop and deliver exercise programs aimed at prevention and recovery to enhance overall health and long-term wellbeing Conduct physiological assessments (body composition, blood pressure, oxygen saturation) and prescribe exercise for group or individual sessions Use objective measures, including strength testing and patient-reported outcomes, to guide clinical decisions Establish relationships with local Allied Health professionals Manage and build a caseload of individual and group sessions Consistently deliver high-quality service in accordance with Kieser standards If you are a graduate/experienced Exercise Physiologist, with a passion for client outcomes and a belief in strength training for long-term prevention, we want to hear from you.
This is a part-time role 3 days per week. *Shift times are generally between Mon-Fri 6am – 8pm / Saturdays 7am – 3pm
Qualifications Required:
ESSA recognised Bachelor or Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology Degree Current ESSA registration Valid working rights in Australia Active and current Professional Indemnity Insurance First Aid Certification NDIS Worker Screening Check Working with Children Check Minimum 1-2 years relevant work experience Diversity and inclusion We value inclusion and diversity and are committed to creating a safe, confident, and celebratory work environment.
