The Tasmanian State Service (TSS) is the largest employer in Tasmania, with over 28,000 employees providing services to the Tasmanian community at all levels, and within more than...Reporting to the Manager of Community First Responders and Volunteers, you will have a statewide role in administrative responsibility for all Ambulance Tasmania volunteers.You will engage with and support the three regional Volunteer and First Responder Team Leaders.The Role:Provide high level administrative and executive support to the Manager, including the preparation of confidential documents such as Ministerial correspondence, briefings and reports.Respond to general enquiries from AT staff and the general public and delegate tasks as required.Provide support to the Manager, including minute/note taking, preparation of correspondence and maintenance of a comprehensive diary of meetings.Coordinate and provide secretarial assistance to committees as requested by the Manager, including compilation of agenda papers and minutes, and management of confidential information.Coordinate the workflow, delegation and prioritisation of incoming correspondence to the Manager, including responding on behalf of the Manager.Provide support to statewide Community First Responders and Volunteers Team Leaders with collation and administrative duties involved with Volunteers in Training and organising Volunteer Induction Programs.Coordinate the administrative aspects of all volunteers across the state including the management of a statewide database of current volunteers and their location.Note: - Please refer to the Statement of Duties for all the selection criteria of this position to address in your application.Position Features:Some intrastate travel may be requiredDetails of Appointment:Permanent, full time, day work, position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.*notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicantApplicants should note that, for a period of six months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.Location:Southern Region – Tasmania$71,661 to $77,455 per annum + 11% superannuationThe Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre-employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer.
