Key Responsibilities:Provide high-level administrative and executive support to the Director of Education, including the preparation of confidential documents such as ministerial correspondence, briefings, and reports, while managing the efficient operation of the office.Coordinate and provide secretarial support to committees, including compiling agenda papers, taking minutes, managing confidential information, and handling the scheduling of meetings.Manage workflows and administrative functions, such as responding to general inquiries, arranging travel and accommodation, organising events, raising purchase orders, and maintaining effective communication systems to ensure the smooth operation of the office and flow of information across relevant departments.Key Skills:Strong Administrative and Organisational Skills:Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary office management practices.Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet concurrent deadlines, and maintain high accuracy in a busy office environment.Effective Communication and Interpersonal Skills:High-level written and verbal communication skills.Ability to liaise with staff, emergency organisations, and clients in a sensitive and confidential manner.Research and Analytical Skills:Proficiency in planning, analysing, and interpreting information.Ability to exercise initiative, judgement, and discretion.Advanced Computer Skills:Competency in using software such as Word, PowerPoint, databases, spreadsheets, and internet applications with high accuracy.Teamwork and Independence:Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.Details of Appointment:Permanent, full-time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

Salary: $73,881 to $79,779 per annum + Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution.
