This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and motivated Head of HSSQ to join Corio's rapidly growing offshore wind business and support the transition to a low carbon, sustainable global economy.
The Head HSSQ APAC has the primary responsibility to strategically manage the HSSQ scope of Corio Generation in the APAC region. This includes developing, implementing, and continuously improving the region's HSSQ management system, supporting project teams with various HSSQ matters, managing stakeholders, participating in external HSSQ forums, and liaising with local authorities/supply chain.
Subject to the directions of the Global Head of HSSQ, the Head of HSSQ APAC has the following responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with the Global HSSQ Management System and local requirements and international best practices. Provide support for the management of any third-party reviews undertaken on the projects, including representatives of shareholders and project internal and external stakeholders. Provide HSSQ evidence on the assurance reviews requirements for projects. Responsible for regional MS continuous improvement. Monitor regional sustainability targets and risks. Maintain an approved supplier system and processes in liaison with the Corio platform and project teams. Review documentation provided by contractors and suppliers from the selection process prior to any planned work in the field. Ensure HSSQ data reporting and KPIs performance monitoring. Prepare the regional HSSQ report and ensure reports collection from projects. Deliver periodic HSSQ updates, training, and awareness sessions to the team regarding lessons learned, incident updates, HSSQ alerts, and general HSSQ topics relevant to the business and projects. Complete field and HSSQ programme audits, work with platform and project teams, and support HSSQ due diligence activities. Manage contractors related topics. Manage a group of HSSQ personnel (externals) or at the project level following project maturity. Requirements Based in one of Corio's offices or home-based with some travel required. Appropriate quality, health, safety, and environmental qualifications. Lead Auditor training in ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 9001. A minimum of five (5) years' experience in a related health and safety function, ideally with the certification of management systems in line with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 9001. Experience with implementing management systems from scratch and the ability to revise and develop the systems in line with business maturity and growth. Exposure to different levels of HSEQ cultures and maturity. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong sense of ethics and excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to liaise at all levels. Prepared to travel (globally) to business offices, project locations, and other stakeholder locations. Ambitious, motivated, and driven to succeed. A team player.
