Make an Impact, Drive Excellence, and Join a Purpose-Driven TeamWe're looking for a dynamic Executive Support Assistant to provide high-level support to the Chief, Home Living and Community Officer at Melba, a values-driven organisation empowering people with disabilities for over 50 years.Key Responsibilities:Executive Support Manage emails, calendars, and correspondence with precision and professionalism.Prepare and distribute agendas, minutes, and action items for meetings.Draft, format, and proofread reports, presentations, and other key documents.Strategic Plan ExecutionAssist the Chief, Home Living and Community Officer in achieving the strategic plan by supporting the development and implementation of strategic initiatives and operational plans.Provide insights and recommendations to the executive team based on data analysis and research.Operational Excellence:Analyse data and create reports to inform decision-making.Assist in developing and implementing policies to enhance efficiency.Triage complaints and incidents, ensuring timely and professional follow-ups.Oversee responses to critical incidents and develop protocols for reporting and resolution.Coordinate communication strategies during crises and maintain accurate records for continuous improvement.About You:You're an organised self-starter with:5+ years' experience in senior administration, ideally in disability, community, health, or social services.Proven track record of crafting compelling presentations, reports, and correspondence that effectively convey key messages and drive stakeholder engagement.Demonstrated expertise in analytical thinking and problem-solving, with a proven ability to dissect complex issues, identify root causes, and develop innovative, data-driven solutions.Knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and experience working in compliance environments.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and corporate systems like SharePoint.Exceptional attention to detail, communication, and time management skills.A proactive, flexible approach and a proven ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.Bachelor's degree in business administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
Master's degree preferred.Requirements:NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check required (we'll help you get them if needed).The ability and relevant driver's license to perform travel to Melba sites across Victoria.Occasional travel to regional offices, such as Ballarat or Gippsland, may be required to attend meetings with the Senior Leadership Team or external stakeholders.
This is expected to occur no more than once a month and may involve an overnight stay.Full-time role with flexibility required to support priority crisis activities as needed.
