Indie School is a registered non-government, special assistance school setting, operating schools, and multiple campus locations in NSW (years 9 – 12) and across Australia.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking to recruit an Executive Principal Junior in NSW. This position will be based at one of our existing educational sites in either regional or greater Sydney area NSW.
The position will require regular travel to our Head Office in Wodonga and various assigned locations across NSW, with planned interstate Executive Meetings throughout the year.
Reporting directly to the Deputy Chief Executive Officer (DCEO) and working within an established Executive Team, this pivotal role will involve leading, managing, guiding, and motivating staff, as well as overseeing a wide array of company and educational functions, projects, and programs across designated locations in NSW.
This hands-on role will require active participation alongside teams and within them, with a focus on training, informing, and contributing to the development and implementation of strategies that align with the company's vision and mission.
You will also be responsible for cultivating a positive work culture, fostering staff growth, and maintaining high levels of management excellence within NSW.
Furthermore, a commitment to continuous improvement, compliance, efficient educational delivery, demonstration of advanced problem-solving skills, high-level negotiation, and effective communication skills are essential.
Qualifications and Experience:
A Bachelor of Education or higher. Relevant and proven experience in similar Executive level management position(s) with a national approach would be preferred. Knowledge and experience in school regulations, compliance, and the High School Certificate is preferred (or its equivalent). Management Skills:
Perform ongoing evaluations on business and education systems and processes toward implementation of improved efficiencies, with positive resolution outcomes. Drive important strategic, policy, and procedural implementation, achieving improved quality compliance. Ability to apply goals and objectives for teams/clusters of staff to achieve yearly business plan budgets. Ability to produce documented plans and proposals for the systematic review and improvement of areas. Assess and identify new opportunities for growth in current and prospective markets that reflect comprehensive research and provide well-defined recommendations for the DCEO. Highly developed presentation, written, and oral communication skills. A demonstrated understanding of human resource management activities and principles. Demonstrated experience in the preparation and monitoring of annual business development plans, strategic plans, and the implementation of the approved strategies.
