Executive Officer - NSW Government ContractImmediate start, 12 month contract with view to extendSydney locationHybrid, 3 days per week on siteFull time, 40 hours per weekUp to $850 per day + superPrevious experience in a similar role within a Government environment is highly regardedOur client is seeking an Executive Officer to provide essential assistance to senior leadership within a Government environment. This is an important position where the successful candidate will be providing high level administrative, operational and analytical support ensuring the organisation runs smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Serve as the main contact for the Executive Director, liaising with stakeholders and managing communication requests to meet deadlines.Draft, edit, and review high-level communications, including ministerial correspondence and reports, to ensure accuracy and timeliness.Oversee the Executive's records and correspondence, coordinate tasks, and schedule meetings to ensure smooth and effective business operations.Analyse information from various sources to provide strategic advice on complex matters, and prepare reports on corporate policy and planning.Represent the Executive in committees and meetings where necessary, advocating for their position, reviewing papers and handling correspondence.Conduct operational support activities to facilitate smooth office operations.Address emerging issues effectively to minimise risks to the organisation. Skills and Experience Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.Strong analytical skills, with the capability to analyse financial reports and data.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey information effectively and efficiently, both verbally and in writing, with a strong eye for detail.Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Tech savvy with experience across a number of systems and software programs such as Microsoft Suite, TRIM, SAP and Power BI.
