The Commission is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Officer to provide an efficient administrative, secretarial, office management and executive support service to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and the Commission's Board.
The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the strategic direction of the Commission, overseeing and supporting key operations through research, policy and project work.
In summary, the Executive Officer will assist to drive the operational excellence and strategic initiatives of the Commission.
We are looking for individuals with:
demonstrated experience in providing administrative and secretarial support at a senior executive level, including the ability to prepare high quality written reports and briefing papers with attention to detail.the ability to liaise with senior leadership to develop and implement strategic plans.excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.proven experience in an executive support or administrative role.For further information and special requirements for this role please see attached Job Description Form (JDF).

Employment Conditions and Additional Information DPIRD is an Emergency Management Agency and all employees may be required to work or travel during, or outside of, normal business hours to assist with incidents and emergencies.
Subsidised GROH housing will be offered to eligible employees.
