An Executive Officer working within the Office of the Deputy Secretary will:
Provide high-level quality administrative and secretarial support to the Parks and Wildlife Service (PWS) Deputy Secretary and leadership group.Maintain quality control over Ministerial and other confidential correspondence.Research and/or co-ordinate background notes, responses to requests for information and briefings.Liaise with the Minister's Office, Agency and PWS Executive, Business Unit Heads and other key stakeholders.Proactively support the PWS vision: Inspiring landscapes for all people for all time.Our ideal candidate is Proactive and intuitive – you have your finger on the pulse of the business unit and know what is needed to achieve goals.Experienced in providing confidential executive services.An excellent communicator with interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.An analytical thinker with proven ability to develop creative solutions to overcome obstacles.We offer Two permanent positions located in a contemporary office in the Hobart CBD.20 days annual leave a year (plus paid shutdown between Christmas and New Year).Flexible work options and a supportive, diverse workplace.Rewarding, meaningful work contributing to the protection and enhancement of Tasmania's cultural and natural values and places.About us The Department of Natural Resources and Environment Tasmania (NRE Tas) is committed to our vision of "delivering a sustainable Tasmania" where our natural resources, cultural values and environment are recognised and used sustainably to support our future prosperity.
