The Executive Manager plays a critical leadership role as an expert in business banking, risk, strategic planning and continuous improvement champion.
While leading a high-performing team of Agribusiness and Commercial bankers, you will focus on delivering successful outcomes for our customers across the Warrnambool region.
In addition, you will utilise your coaching ability to mentor and engage your team and our clients, focusing on growing quality business across Agri and Business Banking.

This is a newly created senior leadership position that will focus on growth in region, reporting to the General Manager - Regional and Agribusiness Banking, Vic/TAS!
You will lead our Agri and Business banking teams and be supported by a Team Manager leading our local Analyst team.

More specifically, you will:

Lead and manage our a highly engaged Agri and Business Banking team;
Utilise your industry expertise to understand and identify opportunities and develop strategies accordingly in an ever-changing banking landscape;
Coach and mentor the team, supporting and maintaining a high-performance culture whilst building solid relationships to surprise and delight customers;
Drive deal execution with proven skills in origination, structuring and negotiation of complex solutions;
Proven record in delivering sustainable results;
Have a strong market presence and ability to lead the execution of regional and organisational priorities.
We want to hear from you if you:

Have a proven track record in leadership, capable of motivating and coaching a business banking team to develop; customer focus, risk and credit skills whilst driving strong growth;
Keen interest in being part of the broader Vic/TAS State leadership team, supporting our growth agenda;
Are highly engaged and motivated with a strong focus on sustainable success through maximising team performance
Have exceptional commercial acumen and credit understanding;
A tertiary qualification in Business/Finance and/or Commerce would be highly regarded;
Have exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
