YOUR ROLE
Are you ready to lead the future of insurance risk strategy? The Group Chief Underwriting Office (GCUO) is recruiting for an Executive Manager, Insurance Risk Strategy & Performance. Driving the future of insurance risk strategy, the successful candidate will:
Shape portfolio strategies through the Group Portfolio Management process, overseeing performance and providing strategic insights.Champion and implement IAG's responsible underwriting approach delivering on agreed commitments.Manage the Group Emerging & Evolving Insurance Risk process identifying, assessing and acting as appropriate.Spearhead the design and implementation of GCUO strategic initiatives ensuring seamless execution.Influence across various forums and Committees, advocating a strong risk culture whilst driving a performance edge.Continually innovate and drive process improvements taking advantage of emerging technology.Coordinate impactful and articulate Committee papers and lead Committee meetings when required.This is a permanent full-time role open to our office in Gadigal Country (Sydney).

Extensive experience in large-scale insurers or financial services, with strong knowledge of the Financial Services Regulatory landscape.Expertise in strategy design and implementation, with proven skills in portfolio management, modelling, and P&L literacy.Strong leadership capabilities, demonstrated through leading of high performing teams and collaborative partnerships.Proficient in managing complexity and change through delivery of medium-large scale change programs.Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to synthesize data and develop impactful business insights.Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills (both written and verbal).Strategic mindset providing thought leadership, deep insights and direction.Joining IAG, you'll have access to:
